A Few Thoughts
October 2, 2004
A few thoughts over a cup of coffee this
morning, read if you wish............... forwarding to your liberal
friends is a must. Counter arguments are always welcome.
Just a few quotes from the Fresno Bee in
recent days:
"The President made a colossal error in
judgment by invading Iraq", Senator John Kerry, as quoted in the debate
Thursday night.
Iraqi leaders seem to disagree. Other
than the jailed Sadaam Hussein, have you seen any of THEM say this? Do
any of the new Iraqi leaders call it a colossal mistake? No. Who do we
believe? The Presidential candidate whose only hope of success i s for
our failure in Iraq? Or the founding fathers of a new government in
Iraq?
Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari,
quoted in the Bee the same day: "The Iraqi people have suffered enough
at the hands of these people (terrorists). We want a new Iraq, a
different Iraq."
Referring to the cowardly attack on Iraqi
schoolchildren in Baghdad on Thursday: "This attack was carried out by
evil people who do not want the Iraqis to celebrate and don't want
(reconstruction) projects in Iraq." - Iraqi National Guardsman Lt. Ahmad
Saad.
"They are killing citizens and spreading
horror. They have no aims except killing as many Iraqis as they can." -
Iraqi Deputy Interior Minister General Hussein Kamal.
"Heroic Operations" - quote to describe
the murder of 35 innocent Iraqi children with a car bomb as seen on
militant Islamic website.
The left in this country blames terrorism
in Iraq on the United States, as if it didn't exist before the invasion
of Iraq, the liberation of its citizens and the jailing of the modern
day Adolph Hitler, Sadaam Hussein. Of course it existed. It was a way of
life. Liberals everywhere claim to support civil rights, women's rights,
children's rights, but under Hussein there were none. Kurds were gassed
and killed. Rape, murder and torture were the rule of the day in Iraq
prior to the invasion and this would have continued indefinitely had we
not intervened. Everyone, including Senator Kerry, believed Iraq had WMD
and Hussein was a threat to be removed. For a great list of these
quotes, click here:

The left fantasizes that there will be
war without casualties, a painless effort. As a movement, they seem to
have little or no concept that the blood of Americans has secured the
freedom of the WORLD, including the gutless triad of old European
countries, France, Germany and Spain, all of which would be living under
a swastika had FDR not decided to engage Adolph Hitler (Hardly an
"imminent" threat back then, according to the left, which opposed the
war in the 1930's and 40's). The fact is we lost over 1,000 valuable
lives in the first FIVE MINUTES of the Normandy invasion.
The war on terror as led by this
President is the most successful military operation in the history of
modern warfare, by ANY measurement. The left squeals about "loss of
freedoms at home" but the war we are fighting now, among other
things, will provide freedom to people that have never had it and have
a strong desire to govern themselves as we do. These free people are not
and will not put up with terrorism and are fighting back, with our
assistance. In the meantime, God willing, we will not be attacked again
on our own soil.
The President of the United States if the
only man in this race that understands the true nature of the evil enemy
we are now facing. He is the only candidate that understands that you
fight terror over there so you don't have to fight it over here. He is
the only candidate that understands that freedom and stability in this
world is paid for with human blood. He is the only candidate in this
race that will stay the course in the face of criticism from leftists,
the East Coast media and sneering members of the United Nations. He is
the only candidate that has not shifted his position on the war on
terror. He is the only candidate that has not insulted Britain,
Australia, Japan and the new Iraqi government leaders.
